Hiwot Ethiopia organized consultative meeting with child focused structures: with the aim of protecting, promoting, and monitoring the rights of children, a half day consultative meeting was organized on 7 April 2021 with child focused structures such as child led initiatives/CLIs, child right committee/CRCs, Social accountability groups/SAGs, Councils and key officials represented from sub city and local level administrations. During the meeting, the role of each actor vis-a-vis the intended objectives and activities of the child right governance project was identified and reviewed by the participants. Accordingly, consensus has been reached among the participants to further advocate the rights of children and scale up the remarkable results achieved so far and to become vibrant defenders for children’s right.
