Dagmawi Selamssa is one of the co-founder of Hiwot Ethiopia and Vice Board Chair.

He has been in the civil society development sector for the last two decades. Educational Background: Dagmawi has received a Bachelor of Arts in MANAGEMNT (2008); He has studied Public Administration, Organizational Leadership, and has attended several oversee short-term programs in diverse health and development fields. At Present, he is the Executive Director/ National General Secretary of YMCA Ethiopia

B.A in Management Post Graduate diploma in Human resource management and Post Graduate candidate in MBA.

Expertise : leadership ,management and Advocacy on child right and gender equality.

Work Experience: Getaalem is one of a co-founder and has over 24 years of experience on managing institution, serving the community as community development agents on health, education, gender, child right and livelihood programs. As a leadership and management expertise Geteaalem is serving Hiwot Ethiopia as Executive director, secretary of the board and president since the inception (1995). Other functions: Getaalem is serving Consortium of Reproductive Health Association (CORHA) as Board member, Consortium of Population Health and Environment Ethiopia (PHEE) as vice chair for General Assembly leadership; and Chair for Ethiopian MenEngage Network.

B.A in Psychology MA in Developmental Psychology

Work Experience: Ahmed is a child and youth development expert with over 24 years of experience related to child protection, adolescent sexual reproductive health, migration & trafficking and HIV /AIDS programming. His area of professional experience is program design and management, grant management, partnership development, networking, and personnel management. During his professional career, he has served as school counselor, project manager for adolescent sexual reproductive health, child protection program manager, and program director for education, health, livelihood, migration and trafficking programs.

Thewordos Asmamaw is one of the Co-founder and board member of Hiwot Ethiopia and, since the very beginning of Hiwot Ethiopia establishment in 1995

Thewodros Asmamaw Ayele worked as a core facilitator and pioneer in creation of Hiwot's music group with enthusiasm and dedication helping youngsters to explore their talent on art, he studied information technology in la CUJAE Havana, Cuba and currently he runs his own information technology related business in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Thewodros is an active board member to Hiwot Ethiopia.
