Hiwot Ethiopia has organized a capacity building training for Child Rights Committee (CRC) members on Child Rights issues monitoring techniques and standards on 28 September/2021 in Addis Ababa. A total of 48 (F30 M18) CRC members drawn from Yeka, Arada and Gulele Sub Cities of targeted Woredas/districts have participated in the training. The training was organized by Child Rights Governance (CRG) project funded by Save the Children. During the training concepts of monitoring, importance of child rights monitoring, major strategies for CRCs to monitor child rights issues within line government offices and related issues have been discussed. Finally, participants reflected that the commitment and activities of Hiwot Ethiopia with regard to promoting Child Rights and participation is remarkable. They also vowed that the training also initiated them to work hard and undertake systematic monitoring by employing the techniques gained from the training.
